Pumpkin Spice Protein Waffles Recipe

Hello dancers! It’s officially pumpkin spice season, so I wanted to share a recipe I’ve been loving so far with you guys!

These waffles have 240 calories, 26 grams of protein, 32 grams of carbs, and are high in Vitamin A. They’re super duper sweet on their own, so I personally prefer to top them with peanut butter and pumpkin pie spice instead of syrup, but feel free to dress them up however you’d like! For 15% off the protein powder in this recipe, or any Obvi product of your choice, use my code DANCER at checkout! I make a small commission off of each purchase at no additional cost to you, and as a full time student I would really appreciate it!

Recipe:

• 1/4 cup unsweetened pumpkin puree

• 1/2 cup Birch Bender’s plant based protein pancake mix

• 1 scoop Obvi cinnamon cereal protein powder

• Roughly 1/8 cup water

• Ground Cinnamon to taste

In a Pyrex measuring cup combine pancake mix, protein powder, and cinnamon. Add pumpkin puree, and begin to stir the mixture while slowly adding water. Once the mixture has a cake batter consistency it’s ready to bake! Lubricate your waffle iron (or pan if you prefer pancakes!) with an oil or butter of your choice to prevent sticking, if you are using a waffle iron allow the waffles to stay in for at least a minute longer than your waffle maker’s preset cooking time. Enjoy these waffles with a pumpkin spice latte or a mug of warm apple cider!
