I Did Pilates Every Day for a Month and This Happened: Part 2

"In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you'll see the difference, and in 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body.” Joseph Pilates

As of today I’ve officially done 23 pilates classes! Supposedly this is the point in my journey where I should be able to see a difference in my body, but in all honesty I look pretty much the same as I did this time last month. Of course, everyone’s body is different! I already lead a very active lifestyle before starting this challenge so I wasn’t expecting a major change in my physique.

I am still feeling differences in my body, and my instructors have noticed a difference too! I’ve officially been approved to start taking level 1.5 classes once a week! I’m so proud of myself for all of the hard work I’ve been putting in this month!

The main things that’ve helped me to advance this quickly have been consistency and hard work. I have been late to a few classes, but I’ve never missed a single one. In addition to that I put in 100% effort in every single class. I am constantly checking and adjusting my form, listening to corrections from instructors (even if the correction is being given to another student if I notice that it’s something I could also improve on I apply the correction to myself), and pushing myself to do more.

My knee has also been feeling better and last week I noticed that my pain overall has decreased a bit even though I haven’t been doing my physical therapy daily.
