What Do Ballerinas Eat?: Pre and Post Workout Snacks

Having trouble deciding what to eat before and after dance class? Here are some quick snacks that can easily be eaten on the go.

Pre Ballet Snacks

before ballet I like to have easy to digest foods for quick energy

☆ avocado toast with salmon

☆ yogurt and berry parfait

☆ apples and peanut butter

☆ sweet potato fries with hummas

☆ banana and peanut butter oatmeal (or flapjacks)

☆ homemade granola (nuts, oats, dried fruits, ect.)

Post Ballet Snacks

after ballet I like to eat proteins to help build muscle

☆ smoothie bowl (with hemp seeds and chia!)

☆ chia pudding

☆ protein bar or smoothie

☆ fruit salad with guava, nectarines, and blackberries

☆ spring rolls made with tofu, quinoa, spinach & edamame
